"It is said that in Italy, there is an olive
tree that is over 3500 years old called the
Olive Tree of Magliano; The French refer to
the olive tree as "L'arbre roi" (The Regal Tree);
and in Spain, they have a saying, "Aceite de
oliva, todo mal quita" (Olive oil makes all
pains go away)."
History has continuously referred to the symbolic
values of olives and olive oil through its many
cultures and religions. The olive tree is a
tree loaded with symbols -- tradition, longevity,
fruitfulness, purification, strength, victory
and reward. It is regarded as a symbol of patience
and looking at an olive tree gives a feeling
of serenity, peace and tranquility.
There
is a simple elegance found in an olive tree;
it is both beautiful and functional. "I was
truly inspired by this tree of many symbols,
and I strive to duplicate its beauty and feelings
of comfort in every space that I redesign."

"I
believe that every home should be filled with
spaces that emotionally draw owners and guests
to explore, relax and enjoy their surroundings.
My main objective when redesigning a home is
to use the existing furnishings before purchasing
anything new. I do not believe in the "get
rid of everything and start new" approach
to decorating, no matter how generous the budget
might be."
I
hope to decorate for you soon,
